Philip Brain, Coeditor in Chief

Philip Brain is recent graduate of Kenyon College, where he majored in Political Science. Philip is a native of Kansas City, Missouri, where he developed an interest in philosophy in high school. He currently lives in Santa Monica, California. Philip was the Coeditor in Chief of The Kenyon Observer with Harry during his senior year. He also completed an honors thesis on Thomas Hobbes's and Niccolo Machiavelli's treatments of the role of ambition in political life.

In addition to his work at Spectacles, Philip enjoys cooking, leatherworking, and board games.

Harry Clennon, Coeditor in Chief

Harry Clennon is a recent graduate of Kenyon College, where he majored in Political Science and minored in History. Harry grew up in Santa Monica, California, where he developed his passion for politics, and where he currently resides. He was the Coeditor in Chief of The Kenyon Observer with Philip during their time at Kenyon. In his first year at Kenyon, Harry won the George Gund Award for the best submitted essay on Alexis de Tocqueville and American democracy.

Harry also enjoys playing guitar and cooking.
